Polymaker PETG 1.75mm 1kg

Polymaker has recently refreshed its core PETG line (rebranded simply as Polymaker™ PETG) to replace the older PolyLite™ PETG. This new formula is specifically engineered for modern, high-speed printers.

Here are the key features of the new formula:
  • Next-Gen High-Speed Printing: Optimized for high-flow extrusion, allowing for reliable printing at speeds up to 300 mm/s (or over 500 mm/s with high-flow nozzles) without losing structural integrity.
  • Enhanced Layer Adhesion: The re-engineered formula features significantly improved inter-layer bonding, resulting in parts that are much stronger and less likely to delaminate under stress.
  • Cleaner Surface Finish: Designed to produce smoother, professional-looking exterior walls with a noticeable reduction in the “blobbing” and “zits” often associated with older PETG.
  • Low Warping & Clog-Free: Maintains excellent dimensional stability and a low-warp profile, making it easier to print large functional parts like gears, brackets, and outdoor tools.
  • AMS & Multi-Material Ready: Works seamlessly with the Bambu Lab AMS and other multi-material systems, featuring hardened spool edges for better rolling and reliable feeding.
  • Weather & Chemical Resistance: Retains PETG’s classic durability, offering a Heat Deflection Temperature (HDT) of approximately 70°C and natural UV resistance for outdoor use.

Pro Tip: This formula is still quite hygroscopic (moisture-absorbing). For the best results and to eliminate stringing, Polymaker recommends using a PolyDryer or drying the spool at 55°C for 6 hours before use.
